Graduate Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant for one of our client schools in the Bramhall area. The role starts May 2023 after half term and will last for the full academic year. The school could also to extend the role towards the end of the agreed time.

• Full time Graduate Teaching Assistant needed
• Earn £11.85 - £14 per hour

• All subject degrees welcome (particularly those with Maths, English, Science and Psychology)

The school is looking for someone enthusiastic and passionate about working with young people, the school’s Ofsted report is positive towards the standards held by the school’s leadership and the quality of teaching within the school, the teachers have good subject knowledge and regularly provide feedback to their students.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Ability to adapt teaching to accommodate students with different learning styles.
• Confident working with pupils with SEN requirements, for example students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia to name a few.
• Individual and small group teaching ability to meet the needs of certain students.
• To always enforce school policies, especially those regarding behaviour and academic achievement.

Should you be successful, to be considered you must provide a full DBS check and 2 references from former employers. (Character references are accepted if you have not had 2 employers).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
