Job description

Art Teacher required for a part-time position starting in January 2020 at a Secondary School in Bridlington.

I am recruiting an Art Teacher to work within a client Secondary School's Art and Design Department from January 2020, on a part-time basis. The role will involve teaching the Art curriculum to key stage 3 (KS3) and key stage 4 (KS4) classes, including GCSE. It is a part-time position to cover for an absent member of staff, starting in January 2020 and potentially for the rest of the academic year.

If you are a Qualified Art Teacher with recent experience of delivering the Art curriculum to GCSE, then we would like to hear from you.

To be successful in your application, you must:

  • Have experience teaching Art in Secondary Schools and/or Colleges
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) with a specialism in Art
  • Be an FE Trained Art Teacher
  • Have a genuine desire to make a difference and contribute to the learning for Secondary Schools pupils
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring Art lessons

You can expect a daily rate in line with your experience and the role. The rate will be negotiated on your behalf with the school. For clarity and transparency on your pay, Teaching Personnel pays candidates weekly on PAYE.
