Job description

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a oversubscribed secondary school in Poole, who are looking to appoint a Art teacher on a fixed term contract from September 2018. The school have recently been graded "good" by Ofsted with views to achieve outstanding within the next 2 years. The school have a particular ideally to be the best it can be and encourage the staff to adapt this ethos.

The role will be teaching Art up to KS5, with specialisms in photography and sculpture also a desirable subject. This would be a full time role, with leadership qualities available for the ideal candidate. To be considered you must meet the following criteria:

  • A recognised teacher qualification, such as a PGCE,
  • The ability to motivate pupils to achieve excellent examination results,
  • You have passion for Education,
  • Experience teaching Art up to Key Stage 5.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
