Art specialist needed in Cardiff

Hours: Part-time. Three days per week

Are you CREATIVELY passionate about education? Are you looking for a role within education?

What we are looking for:

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an Art Specialist to join a large Welsh medium primary school in Cardiff as soon as possible. We are looking for an organised, positive, passionate individual with classroom experience, qualifications in Art and also a fluent Welsh speaker.

This role is perfect for graduates and current students seeking to go into teaching assistant work

Can you inspire children with your specialist Art knowledge and ability to be a positive role model?

The Role:

Deliver fun Art based after-school clubs

Assist primary-age children in Art lessons linked to the curriculum

Positively manage behaviour.


A-levels or above in an Art based discipline

Experience working within the Art specialism.

Must have experience working with children aged 4 -11 (this could be in a school environment or in a coaching role)

Must be a fluent Welsh speaker

Weekly Pay

Paid experience, relevant to a PGCE application

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
