Are you a Youth Worker looking for a new challenge?

We work with a number of alternative provisions in Leeds that provide alternative education to young people aged 11-16 with complex Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. As support, you'll guide and support young people in their personal, social and educational development; accessing a vocational curriculum such as Music Production, Sports and Fitness and Motor Vehicle Maintenance.

We are seeking individuals with:

  • A strong commitment to young people and an understanding of the factors affecting their lives
  • The ability to provide reliable support to young people and act with integrity in times of stress
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish good relationships with young people
  • A great deal of resilience

The ideal candidate will have experience in Youth Support - however we will also consider applicants with experience in Behaviour Support, Mentoring, Social Care or Sports Coaching. We would also like to hear from you if you have qualifications such as: Working with Children, Young People and Families, Education Studies, Sports Science, Psychology and/or Counselling.
