Agricultural Engineer

Agricultural Engineer Required for Land Based College

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an experienced agricultural engineer to join a team at a local land based college to assist with maintainance and upkeep on a variety of vehicles and equipment including tractors, ATVs and other offroad vehicles in order to allow the students at this college to continue to progress in their courses as well as to assist the businesses on site to continue to function. Whilst this role is at a college this is not a teaching position.

The successful engineer would be an integeral part of the college taking on responsibility for ensuring that the students are able to continue to learn throughout the year with smooth operation of tools and vehicles. The job would be well suited to those experienced in working with HGVs, ex-forces engineers and mechanics as well as engineers from a more traditional background. 

This is a well varied role and would mean joining a very experienced and well embedded team who have been a well loved part of the college team over previous years. The team is looking to expand due to an increase in students and equipment and vehicles. Staff at the college tend to stay for many years to come, joining a well knit group of teachers, support staff and engineers which allow the training of farmers for years to come.
