A Primary School we work closely with in Wakefield WF3 are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic individual to join their new “After School Provision”
The successful candidate will have a fun and exciting manner, enjoy working with children, are firm but fair and have a great sense of humour. You must be able to plan and deliver each session, which will involve an array of different sports such as football, cricket and hockey.
The hours would be between varied 3.15pm and 6.30pm depending on numbers of children attending.
The Head Teacher is looking for someone with an enthusiastic and caring approach, a motivating influence and most importantly, can be a positive role model for young children. In return, the qualified you will have the opportunity to work with a fun team in a very welcoming environment.
This role is due to start as soon as the children return to school (following government guidelines)
Applicants need to have:
• A sports coaching qualification
• A real desire to make a positive difference to children
• Experience delivering sports sessions
What is required from you?
- Available to work five days a week
- DBS registered with the Update Service (desirable)
- Experience teaching sports Key Stage 1 and Key stage 2 in the last 12 months (preferable)
- Available to work as soon as the Children return to work
- Have at least two education-based references from your most recent employer(s) which are GOOD or OUTSTANDING.
