Invigilation – Manchester

Have you got experience in with children and young adults? Looking for a way to get introduced into a Secondary school? A Manchester located Secondary school has expressed a need for exam invigilators for the busy exam period. The dates are running from 18/04/17.

Teaching Personnel work on behalf of a trust of schools in Manchester and help the trust with supplying teachers, teaching assistants and cover supervisors for day to day and long term bookings too. The schools in the trust include Levenshulme High School for girls, The East Manchester Academy and Whalley Range 11-18. The invigilator will be expected in some cases to be a reader for some pupils. Experience with pupils who have English as an additional language can be hugely beneficial.

Previous experience as an invigilator or a teaching assistant is hugely beneficial and ideally what the school is looking for. Any exam invigilator will need a DBS and to be able to register it on the update service.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
