EYFS TEACHING ASSISTANT REQUIRED, Central Manchester Primary School, M18

  • EYFS Teaching Assistant Required, Manchester, M18
  • Competitive Rates of Pay between 11,998 - £15,298 dependant on experience
  • Prior experience working in the EYFS

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a client school in the Gorton area of Manchester, M18 to find an experienced EYFS practitioner to work in their reception class. The position is to work full time supporting a child with suspected ASC on a 1:1 basis. The pupil will be new to the early year’s unit and as a result this post will initially be a long term supply post with a view to a permanent appointment.

The position is to work in a larger than average, 3 form entry primary school. The school boast a brand new early years provision with modern facilities and resources. The head teacher is looking for ‘a proactive practitioner’ who will support and embrace this ‘ever developing’ early years environment.

This full time 1:1 support position will start in September and will run up until the end of the academic year.

• Suspected ASC

• Limited Speech

• Personal Care

The school require somebody who has:

• Experience of working with children on a 1:1 basis

• Experience of working in the EYFS

• A compassionate approach to assisting teaching and learning

The school are looking to see potential candidates for the position the first week back after the May half term. The ideal candidate will have recent and relevant experience supporting with in the EYFS and will have a enthusiastic attitude and willingness to give 100% to enhance learning!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
