Behaviour Specialist Required, Central Manchester Primary School, M11

  • - Behaviour Specialist Required to Support a Child with ADHD on a 1:1 basis
  • - Full Time Position Starting in the Summer Term

A client school in Central Manchester (M11) are looking for a behaviour support assist to join their KS2 team on a full time basis. You will have prior experience dealing with difficult behaviour and will be able to determine different strategies to defuse situations. The successful applicant will be based in a lively Year 5 class and will have responsibility for 2 children primarily, who have severe ADHD. The children spend the majority of the working day with in classroom but require 1:1 support to ensure that they on task and making progress at all times.

The role is with in a 1 for entry, Roman Catholic primary school in Openshaw, M11. The school abides by a strong Roman Catholic ethos and is looking for a dedicated behaviour support assistant who will support the behaviour and beliefs of the school.

To be considered for this post you must have experience supporting children with behavioural difficulties in an educational setting or equivalent. The school are looking to short list for this position as soon as possible with a view to seeing prospective candidates at the beginning of the summer term.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
