We are currently recruiting a strong Teaching Assistant to support young people of a Primary age with various Special Educational Needs; Including, Cerebral Palsey, ADHD, Autism, Global Delay and Down syndrome.
Our client, based in Rumney is looking for a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis to support pupils on a one to one basis but also undertake some classroom based responsibilities. The ideal person will need to have an Recent experience working with one of more of the above SEN, although not essential as Teaching Personnel offer a CPD experience days and training.
You will need to have experience with Primary aged pupils or have supported young people from vulnerable and challenging backgrounds. The successful candidates will need to know how to deal with difficult situations, remain calm under pressure and would be able to build a good rapport with pupils.
