Are you a Behaviour Support Specialist? Looking for a new Challenge?

  • A proven track record of working with children with in a Primary setting

Teaching Personnel are currently working exclusively with a large Primary School in Darwen who are currently recruiting a teaching assistant to work 1:1 and 1:2 with children in KS1 and KS2. The successful candidate would be expected to build good working relationships and raise attainment on a long term basis. We deal with a range of schools that require graduates to work as general classroom support and on a one-to-one basis with pupils with specific learning needs including those with Challenging Behaviour.

The Summer term has seen an influx of mainstream Primary schools approach Teaching Personnel in order to supply behaviour support assistants on a longer term basis. With this in mind, am now actively seeking experienced behaviour support assistants who can be available to take up longer term work within the Lancashire area.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
