Learning Support/Teaching Assistants

Long Term Role Starting May 2017 Pay from £50-£60 per day depending on experience!

A Special Needs School in Dorset are seeking to appoint Teaching Assistant to work alongside a colleague and an ASD Teacher in their primary phase. This position has arisen due to increased headcount on the school roll and the opening of an additional class to support this group. All applicants must have recent experience working with children with special educational needs, in either a primary school or specialist SEN environment.

The class consists of 8 pupils with a broad range of learning difficulties and complex needs and consist of mainly Autistic students. You would be working alongside a very experienced LSA who is very supportive, friendly and hardworking. You will also benefit from the schools exceptional CPD and in house training schemes.

The ideal candidate would have: A proven record of teaching or supporting SEN students with a range of needs!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
