Secondary Teaching Assistant to support pupils with ADHD

A SEN Secondary school in Dorset are looking for a full time Teaching assistant to work alongside a teacher in a small class where the children have special educational needs including autism, aspergers and ADHD.

One to one tuition is encouraged in order to focus on each child's needs and that they get the full potential of their time at the school. Previous experience of working with SEN children is essential and the candidate must be available for immediate start. The right candidate must be ready to get stuck in with one to one tuition as well as class activities and to support the teacher with day to day challenges.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
