Special Needs Assistant (SNA) Required For Bournemouth

Our client school are looking to appoint a new, dynamic Special Needs Assistant (SNA) to join their caring and engaging team.

The hours will be 09.00 to 15.00 including some lunch time supervision work and the role will consist of one to one support for an individual pupil who is on the Autistic spectrum and has ADHD. As the pupil has ADHD small, short, sharp bursts are the best way of engagement and raising attainment.

Experience and qualifications desirable, however training can be given. The most important qualities needed to succeed in this role are: Patience, An Engaging Personality, Creative Thinker & a Caring Nature.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
