The London Behaviour team at Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit staff to be behaviour mentors within a primary PRU based in Waltham Forest. This role requires somebody who can support a pupil with challenging behaviour within the PRU and also go with them to their mainstream school to provide further one-to-one support. The school are looking for somebody who is proactive and can set high expectations of behaviour with a strong reward and sanctions process.
The child displays challenging behaviour and is working at a lower level of attainment than average. They therefore need support with their academic studies as well as their behaviour so strong knowledge of the national curriculum will be required. They also have a keen interest in sports, in particular, football so any interest or knowledge in this area will help to engage and motivate the pupil.
If you feel that you can build a strong relationship, support all aspects of the curriculum and ensure this child can achieve their full potential then please send your CV and a short cover letter explaining why you feel that you would be suited to this role to fateha.awwal@teachingpersonnel.com. We strive to find the best role for you and the best fit for the school – we want to you succeed in your career.
We also offer the following benefits for all of our candidates:
• CPD courses
• Competitive pay rates
• Online services
• Daily supply and long term work
