1:1 Learning Support Assistant Required in Blackpool

  • Daily rate with weekly pay
  • 1:1 experience required
  • Full-time from September 2016

Are you seeking a full-time post in September? Does a 1:1 Teaching Assistant role sound like something that would suit you?

If so, a client school of mine in Blackpool are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support a KS3 student on a 1:1 basis. Due to the specific nature of this role, experience of working on a 1:1 basis with students is required! The student suffers from minor ADHD and challenging behaviour, therefore works outside of the classroom environment in the reflection unit.

The role is due to start at the beginning of September with a view to continuing until at least December with the possibility of becoming permanent. You will work in a close knit team with the SENCO and other Learning Support Assistants.

PLEASE NOTE: You must have a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
