SEN Teaching Assistant in Early Years, M14.

A full time Teaching Assistant opportunity has become available in a one form entry primary school in Manchester, (M14). The school are looking to recruit an enthusiastic teaching assistant with experience of supporting pupils with barriers to learning and who display challenging behaviour. The suitable candidate will be supporting a group of children in the Early Years including 2 girls and 1 boy. Highlights of the post include;

The Role;

The incoming Teaching Assistant will be supporting a group of children within the Early Years setting who struggle with staying within a classroom setting. The children are identified as need specific 1:1 support to help them stay on task. The ideal candidate will be able to set clear boundaries and reward the children for their good behaviour.

To be considered for this learning support teaching assistant role, you will need to have a teaching assistant qualification/sports degree and significant experience working with children who display challenging behaviours.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
