We are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of popular and successful school in Coventry, to work with a child in Year 2 who has Autism and ADHD, who may also have traits of Pathological Demand Avoidance.
The boy is very bright and has a nice sense of humour, however he gets anxious and struggles with the demands of day to day school life. The school is looking for someone who is able to set firm boundaries, is adaptable to his sometimes erratic behaviour and able to build a good rapport with him so that they can help support him at school. You will be required to work with the child on a one to one basis, as well as helping other children within the class.
This is a large 3 form entry OFSTED ‘GOOD’ school in the CV6 area of Coventry
Although this role will be starting as a temporary role, there is the strong possibility that for the right person, you will be offered a permanent role.

- Must have SEN experience (preferably ADHD)
- Must have a Teaching Assistant or Degree Qualification
- Must have at least 6 months of experience in a UK School
