Job description

Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant required for Primary School in the borough of Brent

  • £60+ per day, depending on experience
  • Opportunity to work in an ambitious Primary School that is dedicated to developing and training staff
  • Full time position, term time only

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting 2x SEN teaching assistants who are available for a September start.

Our client school, based in Wembley, are in need of teaching assistants who have experience supporting children with a range of complex needs such as; ADHD, Autism, Global Learning Delay, Speech and Language difficulties and Down-Syndrome.

About the School

This is an ofsted rated 'Good' Primary School which is located 10 minutes away from the famous landmark Wembley Stadium. It is an impressive, modern, purpose built new school ready to take on the flagship of a community for outstanding learning and they are looking for exceptional support staff who are able to add value to the learning development of children.

The ideal candidate:

*A minimum of 6 months experience supporting SEN pupils

*Sound knowledge of the national curriculum

*Strong literacy and numeracy skills

*Flexible and hard-working

*A valid DBS that is registered on the update service or willing to complete an application immediately.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
