ADHD/ Challenging Behavior Specialist required to work 1:1 in EYFS

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent required
  • Experience working with ADHD/ Challenging behaviour necessary
  • DBS on the Update Service is a necessity

An Ofsted 'Good' Primary School in Coventry are looking for a Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant specialising in ADHD and Challenging Behaviour to provide 1:1 support to EYFS ADHD pupil. This role is to start in September and is to end at the end of next academic year. This school is based in CV6 and are looking to trial as soon as possible.

The role includes encouraging concentration in lessons, managing behaviour and to enhance pupil attainment levels. The ideal candidate will have experience working within schools or a similar setting and should be able to commit to a long term position. School based experience is desirable however similar experience will be considered.

Qualified teaching assistants, graduates and fully qualified teachers looking for TA work are encouraged to apply. Experience working with those with Challenging behaviour is required.

Teaching Personnel:

Teaching personnel are dedicated to providing school with quality candidates. We expect all registered staff to provide a 6 year career history and references from their most recent employer. A DBS will be required that is registered to the update service - assistance can be provided with this.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
