Teaching Personnel are seeking to hire a talented individual to the role of account manager, working alongside an experienced team leader to provide a first-rate service to local education authorities and Tuition client in the North West. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience within education recruitment without the full pressure of 360 recruitment, a large emphasis of your role will be on candidate recruitment and servicing our established clients.

If you are a confident and outgoing individual with strong interpersonal skills, this would be an excellent opportunity for you. As an account manager, you will need to successfully attract and vet teachers, tutors and support staff and match them to suitable placements within our clients. You will join our North West Tuition branch, who exclusively work with local authorities, looked after children teams, virtual schools and other non school establishments. A knowledge of Special Needs would be advantageous, however the ability to learn fast and commitment to self-learning would make you successful in this position.
The position is available for an immediate start and wish to recruit ASAP ahead of the summer holidays and new academic year in September 2021.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
As an Account Manager you will be the vital link between our educators and clients, supporting the branch manager. Daily responsibilities will vary but you can expect to regularly;
- Take inbound calls from candidates and clients and use our system effectively
- Develop your knowledge of the Education system, particularly SEN
- Build and develop your own candidate database by sourcing and recruiting quality teachers, tutors and support staff and matching them to our client requests/vacancies
- Conduct virtual interviews with suitable Education candidates
- Work to KPIs and targets in line with your branch and career ladder
- Partake in the companies unique learning and development programme to enhance your recruitment knowledge and understanding of the job
- Support your team and achieve team targets as well as individual accolades
- Arrange and attend client meetings to increase your business levels

Hours of Work
This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis (42.5 hours per week, 5 days per week) and hours naturally fall in line with the school day (starting at 7:30am term time) – with significantly reduced hours in the school holidays.
Salary and Benefits
In return for your efforts we offer a great package consisting of:
- Annual starting salary of GBP23,000 per year (minimum) plus performance-related commission
