The School
The school is a learner and family-centred, Non Maintained Special School meeting the complex educational, health and care needs of children and young people aged 7 to 19 typically with a primary diagnosis of Speech Language & Communication Needs and/or Autistic Spectrum Condition. They are proud to have ‘Autism Accreditation’ from the National Autistic Society. The school offer up to 100 placements, either day or part-residential (Monday to Fridays), depending on the needs of the child or young person. Our pupils and students are all state-funded.

We are looking to recruit an intelligent, enthusiastic and patient Teaching Assistant to support across the school.
Role
The positions are term time only, you must be able to demonstrate a passion for working in a special school setting and with young children with complex needs. We are committed to staff development so will help you to develop your skills and expertise.
