Are you looking for a full-time Maths teacher position in Derbyshire?

Teaching Personnel are working alongside an 'Outstanding' Secondary School in Derbyshire, who are currently looking for an A Level Maths teacher to start in January 2020 for 2 terms.

  • Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply as relevant induction support will be provided
  • Secondary school looking for ambitious staff to help improve overall student attainment

Application Requirements

  • Must hold QTS alongside subject specific qualifications within Maths
  • Must have some previous experience with children/young people in a secondary school
  • Any experience with challenging behaviour or behaviour management training will be highly valued

The successful teacher will be expected to;

-          Support with the development of Schemes of Work in line with the National Curriculum for Maths

-          Plan, prepare and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the needs of individual learners at various levels of learning

-          Assess and evaluate class work reporting back to Senior Teachers in order to take appropriate action to support pupils in meeting their aims and objectives

-          Promote positive behaviour management skills amongst pupils and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies
