Job Title: Mathematics Teacher

Location: DE7

Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary

Salary: Competitive, based on experience. Pay to Scale

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a talented and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join a reputable school in Derbyshire.

This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in the field of mathematics without the pressure of a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons to a diverse range of students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and progress.
  • Use various teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities, such as clubs and competitions, to enhance student engagement and enjoyment of mathematics.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Specialization in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
  • Prior experience in teaching mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE) is desirable but not essential.
