University Graduate - Academic Mentor/Teaching Assistant - North London Secondary school | Immediate start

A North London Secondary school is currently looking for a University Graduate to join their impressive school for the rest of this academic year, 2018-19.

  • Minimum (2:1) Graduate from any University
  • Schools Direct program for outstanding Graduate(s)
  • Minimum £70 per day for Learning Support Assistant/Academic Coach role

The Ideal candidate

We are looking for an ambitious and gifted graduate who has achieved a minimum of a 2:1 degree or above in their studied discipline and are looking for some classroom based experience, before possibly undertaking a teaching qualification themselves. This role is for a graduate with the skills to deliver a variety of topics in a manner that will help raise the attainment of varying students.

About the Role

In this Academic Mentoring post you will be working in your favoured subjects department to help correlate your skills, experiences, and formal qualifications. You will be working with pupils who are struggling in your specialised subjects and you will be helping them reach their targets. As an Academic mentor you will work 1:1 and in small groups with talented and gifted children, as well as challenging pupils.
