Are you an experienced SEN Tutor/Teacher who has worked with a range of needs? Are you interested in picking up 1:1 tuition in the new academic year?
We are closely partnered with local authorities, SEN services and virtual schools in the local North Hampshire area. We are currently looking for 1:1 tutors to support primary and secondary aged pupils with Autism and associated learning difficulties, whilst they are awaiting school placements. These can include SEMH, Autism, ADHD, anxiety, challenging behaviour, and physical and mobility difficulties.
As a 1:1 tutor you will plan, develop and provide individualised programmes for students in either a home or virtual environment. Tuition requests vary from 1 to 15 hours per week depending on the requirement and pupils' situation. You are able to accept as much or as little work as you like and is ideal for those looking for flexibility or a better work-life balance.
We have had an increase in demand for specialists in core subjects (English, Maths & Primary) but welcome qualified teachers from any background.
Successful applicants will need:
- Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent; ideally withing a core specialism (English, Maths or Primary)
- Experience working with primary or secondary aged children
- Experience working with children in a tuition capacity (desirable)
- Have a clear desire to get the best learning and outcomes for children with SEN
- Be adaptable and resilient
- Good organisational skills
