1:1 Tuition Bury
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Do you have experience tutoring pupils on a 1:1 basis?
Are you passionate about ensuring all pupils receive an excellent education, regardless of background or other circumstances?
We work with various local authorities across Greater Manchester, supporting Looked After Children with their education.
This involves supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, often for several hours a day, to guide their learning and ensure they are maximising their educational opportunities. These pupils are not accessing mainstream education, for various reasons, so consistency is key.
Referrals do vary, we have some English, English and Maths, and ESOL assignments, and several of our tutors complete various assignments per day, making tuition very financially as well as morally rewarding.
Requirements
- Qualified Teaching Status, or extensive tuition experience
- Child Workforce DBS on the update service
- Patient and resourceful teaching style
- Driving Licence Preferred
If this sounds like the role for you, please get in touch using the details below.
