1:1 Teaching Assitant

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support a young student who has been recently diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition and needs personal support throughout school.

The student requires support with maintaining focus, breaking down explanations, managing stress and behaviour and may require interventions and down time.

Ideally, applicants will have a knowledge of Primary curriculum and Autism Spectrum Condition specifically, however any education based experience or experience with SEN will be considered.

The role is available on a temporary basis however there is potential for a permanent position for an applicant that works well with the student in order to maintain a settled learning environment for the student.

Please be aware that all applicants must have a child only DBS which is registered to the update service or be willing to obtain one.
