1:1 Teaching Assistant required

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a School in the Portland area who are looking for a full time Teaching Assistant to work on a one-to-one basis with a Year 1 student.

The position will be to start as soon as possible and will possibly be required until the end of the academic year (provided that a good relationship is built with the child). The child responds well to males and therefore this would be desirable - yet not essential.

Experience of working with Autism and/or ADHD would be preferred but again - not mandatory.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
