1:1 Teaching Assistant - Sheffield (S5)

Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant who can provide 1:1 to support for a pupil based in a North Sheffield Primary (S5). You will act as their role model and mentor to support their needs to help improve their educational journey. You will be initially based within KS1 and supporting a child who needs consistent full-time support from a committed individual. You will be a nurturing individual with the patience and passion to adapt to the pupils learning style.

You will:

  • Have a high expectation of every child enabling them to make exceptional progress
  • Have the relevant qualification or relevant work experience with children with challenging behaviour, either on a 1:1 basis or small groups
  • Be able to motivate children who are disengaged from learning
  • Excellent positive behaviour management skills
  • Shown initiative and be confident to get involved in all areas of the school
