1:1 Teaching Assistant (Level 3) ASC Support

Job description

A client Primary School in Gorton, Manchester (M18) is looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and hardworking Teaching Assistant to work with a child with ASC on a 1:1 basis. The school are looking for a professional who has a passion for working with children with additional needs and is committed upskilling where necessary to meet the specific needs of the child. The child is in Year 4 but works at a much lower level so has a educational health care plan which is tailored to support the child continually. The ideal candidate will have a caring and committed attitude and will be able to work effectively as part of a team. The appointed TA will be responsible for supporting the teaching, learning and additional needs of the child. Applicants must have experience working with children with ASC or similar needs. Team Teach training would be beneficial and can be provided.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
