1-1 Teaching Assistant

Are you interested in supporting pupils with Behaviour Needs?

Teaching Personnel are working with a client school in the Bournemouth area, seeking a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1-1 basis.

In this role you will be supporting pupils with behaviour needs, including ADHD, Autism and SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health).

To be in this role you should:

  • have experience working with children or young adults
  • be confident working with challenging behaviour
  • be resilient and have a good sense of humour
  • have good subject knowledge of the national curriculum

You will be working school hours, Monday - Friday. This is to start immediately and is ongoing for the Academic year.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
