The School & Role

An alternative provision in Fulford which provides education for students excluded from mainstream, or unable to access mainstream education. The students are aged between 5 and 19 years and the School seek to re-integrate pupils back into either full time or mainstream education. Your role would be to support on a 1:1 basis, offering both emotional and academic support. Most pupils work from a personalised plan and work in small groups of around 6 students.

The ideal characteristics

  • Charisma and bubbly personality, with a non-judgemental view
  • Ability to engage students in academic lessons
  • Be able to provide a full 6 year career history with reference details
  • Good and Excellent references provided from your two most recent placements
