Teaching Personnel are seeking confident Teaching Assistants to work in a client school in Bournemouth. The school is a Secondary School catering for pupils who have been excluded from mainstream education. This includes pupils who are temporarily excluded, permanently excluded and pupils with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH). The pupils can display challenging behaviour. The school is easily reachable by public transport and has on-site parking.

As a 1-1 Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for engaging the pupil in their education. Work will be set by the class teacher and you will support the pupil with this. You should have a good understanding of the National Curriculum. You will also be responsible for behaviour management.

Experience working in a school isn't required, we would also welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in Youth Work, Sports Coaching, Military, Custodial Service and Residential Care.

Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for TA's who are resilient, confident with behaviour management and have a good sense of humour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
