Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils with behaviour needs.

  • Part time
  • £9 per hour minimum

The role is a part time position, supporting pupils with behaviour needs at a client school in Bournemouth. The school is an SEN setting catering for pupils with behaviour needs. This includes pupils who have been excluded from mainstream school. The pupils can display challenging behaviour.

We are recruiting for a part time Teaching Assistant to work on a 1-1 basis with a pupil in KS3. You will be supporting the pupil with their work (set by the class teacher).

To be successful in this role you should:

  • be nurturing
  • be resilient and confident with behaviour management
  • have a good understanding of behaviour management strategies
  • Team Teach training is desirable - Teaching Personnel can support this

Experience working in a school is not required, we are also keen to hear from people with backgrounds in Care, Military, Youth Work, Sports Coaching and Police/Custodial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
