1:1 Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are seeking a motivated 1:1 Support Assistant for a position within one of our Doncaster Schools to start with immediate effect.

The ideal candidate would have prior experience working on a 1:1 basis with children with SEN and have a patient, nurturing approach. Responsibilities include building a trusting relationship with the child, assisting the child with class work and delivering inspiring intervention to aid the child's development. The 1:1 Support Assistant would also have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with the class teacher, the pupil and the pupil's parents.

Teaching Personnel are seeking:

  • A 1:1 Support Assistant with experience working with children with SEN
  • A 1:1 Support Assistant experience in delivering inspiring intervention
  • A 1:1 Support Assistant with excellent behaviour management

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
