1:1 support for student with ASC

Job description

The Position:

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a candidate to support a student 1-1 during home tutoring sessions. The sessions will be for two hours in the morning and will be based at the student's home. The child has severe ASC and is often prone to outbursts. The position is based in Beaminster and will commence on the 6th of October 2018 and last until the end of the academic year.

What are we looking for:

  • A teaching assistant with extensive experience working with students with ASD
  • A candidate looking for part-time work and happy to conduct morning sessions with the student
  • Experience working in KS2
  • A background in Challenging Behaviour
  • Training / Teaching Assistant Qualifications
  • An individual to commit to providing 1-1 support until the end of the academic year

You must be able to Interview and Trial for Longer Term Positions

You must also be in possession of a Child Workforce DBS (registered on the Update Service) or willing to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
