Teaching Personnel are on the lookout for a dedicated, hard-working, passionate individual to take on the role of SEN Teaching Assistant in & around the Vale of Glamorgan area.

No Professional Experience? No Problem!

If you have any experience with ALN in your personal or professional life, then we would love to hear from you!

Role Duties:

-          Supporting the pupil on a 1:1 basis in the classroom and other day to day activities.

-          Create a safe, positive, fun environment in the classroom to instil confidence in the pupil.

-          Develop a working rapport with the student.

-          Find an effective way to deliver feedback for the student’s efforts.

-          Promote a child-led approach.

-          Deal with challenging behaviour and be comfortable removing the pupil from a potentially triggering environment.

The role is focused in the CF63 area in a primary school setting. You will be working with a pupil with Autism.

The working hours will be between Monday – Friday starting at 8:30am & finishing at 3:30pm.

-          Have a passion for helping others.

-          Want to enhance every child’s learning experience.

-          Be comfortable in a school setting.

-          Have a strong motivation to improve their own skills in a learning environment.

-          Competitive weekly pay (£13.75 p/h) through our Pay as You Earn (PAYE) scheme. (No need to fill out timesheets either, we do that for you!)

-          We will help you get everything you need to get started, including an Enhanced DBS & EWC Registration.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
