1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

  • SEN TA (behaviour support) work available in New Malden short stay provision
  • Provide 1:1 support to primary school children at risk of exclusion from school
  • Beginning February 2022
  • Full time ideal; part time considered

The main priority of this behaviour support role will be connecting with children and providing a mentor type approach to your relationship with them. You will be part of a large team that supports children who are at risk of permanent exclusion from their mainstream school, aiming to re-integrate them back into school and avoid exclusion.

  • £75/day - £95/day pay rate, and we are a PAYE company (no umbrella company)
  • You will receive a work phone
  • You will be supported by other colleagues and professionals linked to the children, including the head of service at the local authority, the school staff and advisory teachers
