1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant job- Plymouth

Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a student at a mainstream secondary school.

The successful candidate:

  • Will have experience teaching/providing 1:1 support in a mainstream or SEN setting
  • Have excellent behaviour management with a calm and patient approach
  • Must be enthusiastic, passionate and flexible

Information about the role:

  • Full time from January 2019
  • An on-going, long term position
  • At a popular secondary school in Plymouth
  • 1:1 support for a student with SEN

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £44, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.
