1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants required for a local primary school based in the heart of Rochdale, OL11 for an immediate start.
- Pro rata salary range for Term Time only working £13,964 to £15,496pa depending on experience.
- A school Rochdale, OL11 requires a teacher 1:1 SEN TA starting in IMMEDIATELY
- Previous experience work as a 1:1 needed.
This "Good" rated Ofsted local primary school in the heart of Rochdale, OL11 is looking for a teaching assistant to work along side a year 3 pupil with moderate severe learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorder and associated problems such as speech & language and other emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Would you welcome the challenge of working with learners in both group and individual situations, helping and encouraging the year 3 pupil to develop their self-help and learning skills?
You will need to be enthusiastic, committed & flexible, as well as having the ability to maintain calm, positive direction when under pressure. You will be the type of person who enjoys a challenge and seeks job satisfaction.
Hours of work: 8.40am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday and (36 hours/week) during term time only (plus In-Service training days).
Own transport is desirable however the school is easily accessible using public transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
