Teaching Personnel are working as a recruitment partner for a Large Primary School in South Manchester, Wythenshawe (M23). The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant with previous 1:1 experience to work in a year 4 class on a full time basis with a particularly challenging pupil. The role is to begin February half term and will be for the rest of the academic year, with the potential of rolling into the next academic year.

The year 4 pupil has Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and can be challenging at times. The school are looking for a strong and experienced individual to support the pupil 1:1 for the full academic year. It is extremely important that the correct person for the role has experience with challenging behaviour in order to give the pupil the best support possible during their time within the primary school. During the role the successful candidate will offer support on a 1:1 basis outside of the classroom academically as well as support the pupil socially inside the school

The school graded "good" in their most recent Ofsted report is part of the Wythenshawe Catholic Trust. The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) at the school is extremely experienced and would offer lots of support for the candidate in the role. This would be a good opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work under an experienced SLT team and show their skills as well as being able to learn new things.
