Are you an experienced SEN Support Assistant?
Teaching Personnel are seeking a nurturing 1:1 Support Assistant for a position to assist a child with SEN. The position is to start in the new academic year in one of our Sheffield schools.
The ideal candidate would have prior experience supporting a child with SEN on a 1:1 basis. The Support Assistant must be an excellent communicator, with the ability to build an effective relationship with both the student and the class teacher. Other qualifications, such as moving and handling, are desirable however not essential.
The 1:1 Support Assistant will also display excellent behaviour management and have an enthusiastic approach to children's learning and development.
Teaching Personnel are seeking:
- Experience in 1:1 support with a child with SEN
- A 1:1 Support Assistant with experience in a care based setting
- A 1:1 Support Assistant with an understanding of the KS1 curriculum
