Are you a nurturing individual with experience in supporting a child with SEN on a 1:1 basis? Could you make a positive difference to a child's development?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a passionate Support Assistant for a position within one of our Sheffield schools located in the heart of Sheffield to start after the October half term.

The ideal candidate would have prior experience in supporting a child with ASC and display positive behaviour management. The role would entail supporting the student on a 1:1 basis, delivering a range of inspiring interventions to enhance learning and development. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to effectively liaise with the student, class teacher and the students parents. A Team Teach qualification is beneficial, however not essential.

Teaching Personnel are seeking:

  • Prior experience in supporting a child with ASC, with an excellent understanding of the Autistic Spectrum
  • A 1:1 support assistant with the ability to deliver inspiring intervention to enhance learning and development
  • A committed support assistant with high standards of attainment and behaviour management

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
