Teaching personnel are looking for a kind, passionate and supportive mentor to work in a SEN/challenging behaviour in a provision in the Plymouth area. The position is full time and it will be working on a 1-1 basis with a pupil. This requires the candidate to be able to build positive and effective relationships with the pupil they work with. You must be able to drive as part of the role requires you to support the pupil on and off the site.

All candidates should have an updated DBS check, the role will be suitable if you:

  • Are friendly and confident
  • Can remain calm in stressful situations
  • Experience is necessary
  • Full Clean driving licence
  • Can work immediately
  • Have 2 x A level or equivalent
  • Have BTEC or NQT level 3

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
