1:1 Behaviour Support Mentor

Teaching Personnel are looking for SEND Teaching Assistants who are available and looking for work from September 2018. We are working in partnership with a SEN school in Exeter and due to their September intake, the SLT are looking for a number of people to work on a 1:1 and 2:1 basis with pupils with a variety of special educational needs. We are looking for people who have experience of working with pupils with PMLD, other complex needs, those on the autistic spectrum, SEMH and other learning, emotional or behavioural difficulties. The role is full time- 8:30-3:30, 5 days per week. It is also term time only.

The ideal candidate MUST:

  • Have a full, clean driving licence with access to a car daily
  • Have an NVQ Lvl 3 or above in Health and Social Care or similar
  • Be available immediately with ability to carry out a long-term role
  • Be passionate about working with children and supporting learning and welfare
