Teaching Personnel are seeking confident, enthusiastic, teaching assistants to provide 1-1 support for pupils with behaviour needs.

Our client school caters for secondary aged pupils who have been excluded from mainstream education. This role involves supporting the pupil on a 1-1 basis outside of the school setting (i.e. in a library).

As you will be working alone with the pupil, you must be confident working with pupils with behaviour needs. You should have a good sense of humour and a positive attitude to encourage the pupils to engage in their education.

To apply for this role you must have:

  • Access to a vehicle
  • Business Motor Insurance
  • Clean Driving Licence
  • GCSE Grade C or above
  • Experience working with children and/or young adults

We have both full and part time hours available.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
