Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in our client school in Bournemouth.

The school cater for pupils who have been excluded from mainstream schools and can display challenging behaviour.

You will be supporting a pupil in year 9 on a 1-1 basis. This will be off-site, so you must be confident with behaviour management.

Your role will involve:

  • engaging the pupil in their education
  • assisting with learning
  • transporting pupil to and from library (or other public place)
  • liaising with school regarding the pupils progress
  • managing behaviour

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • confident with behaviour management
  • resilience
  • sense of humour
  • basic subject knowledge of core subjects (English/Maths/Science)
  • Access to a vehicle, with a clean driving licence and business motor insurance

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
