1:1 Behaviour mentor

Job description

Good afternoon,

My school are currently looking for a behaviour mentor to start in their school in January to join their work force in the SEN department.

You will be working 1:1 with a student in order to help them with their learning and development.

We are looking for someone with passion and commitment to join our school and the role would be a perfect fit for someone looking to go into teaching in the future

About the school

  • Located near Neasden tube stations and 2 bus stops near to the school
  • Mainstream secondary school with separate SEN unit
  • Ofsted rated 'good' in 2016 with steps to work towards outstanding
  • Large SEN Unit with CPD training offered to all staff

About the role

  • Working for 5 days a week starting in January- working hours 8:15-pm
  • 1:1 support for an SEN students helping them with their learning and encouraging them to go above and beyond
  • Occasionally working in small groups of 6 children to act as an LSA
